It was an intense interview conducted with Aurie Parris.  She had her five year-old brother’s hand in hers and the next second he was gone.

Valetta Bradford is a spokeswoman against Distracted Driivng.  Her son Xzavier was hit by a distracted driver and this distracted driver only had to pay $150 dollar fine.   After that she disappeared without so much as an apology.  Valetta’s son lost his left lung and is paralyzed from the diaphragm down.  He is currently in a wheelchair.

She and her family, son Xzavier, and his nurse along with daughter Aurie have been invited to a red carpet event in Hollywood for the premiere of a documentary by Werner Herzog.

The premiere is this Thursday, August 8th of 2013.

Valetta is to be commended for her advocacy work because of all this. She does not let herself think about the individual who so callously took Xzavier’s future and caused all of them unbearable pain.  She sees a bigger picture, one that involves you.

‘It can wait’.  Hundreds of thousands of drivers get in their cars using their cell phones.  You may be one of these.  We are asking that you take the 36 minutes out and watch the documentary ‘From One Second to the Next’.   These 36 minutes may save you or someone you love.

Stay tuned for more news.  If you would like to donate to X-man’s on-going care you can donate on-line at this link;’
